Misuse of Antibiotics
Misuse of Antibiotics (without Doctor prescription) cause resistance of bacteria toward antibiotics (super-bug).If we are not alert to misuse of antibiotics result in all antibiotics fail to treating to bacterial infected diseases.Antibiotics used in only bacterial infection under doctor prescription & complete the all dose of antibiotic.
Antibiotics are given to prevent infectious disease & its growth. Antibiotics are effective against bacterial infection such as Strep throat,Pneumonia,Diarrhoeal disease,Ear infection & other bacterial infection but these drugs don't work at all viruses such as Flu.
Unfortunately, mane people taken antibiotics are unnecessary & the overuse & misuse of antibiotics helps to create drug - resistant bacteria.
*WHO already given serious threat to global public health about antimicrobial resistance against antibiotics that required action across all government sector & society .
*In 2012, WHO reported a gradual increase in resistance to HIV drugs.
*In 2013,there were about 480000 new cause of Multidrug-Resistant Tuberculosis(MDR-TB).Extensively Drug - resistant tuberculosis (XDR-TB) has been identified in 100 countries.
* There are high proportions of antibiotic resistance in bacteria that
cause common infections (e.g. urinary tract infections, pneumonia,
bloodstream infections) in all regions of the world.
Super-bug are strain of bacteria which are resistant to several types of Antibiotics usually used to treat bacterial infection such as Tuberculosis (MDR-TB,SDR-TB & TDR-TB),Gonorrhea, Methicillin-Resistant Staphyloccus Aureus and other.
